Situation
The building is located between Rte Neuve and Rte de la Sarine in a quiet area above the Motta baths.
The city center is accessible in 5 minutes by public transport via the TPF bus (no. 4 Auge) or the funicular, both located less than 150m away.
By bike and with a little effort, the CFF station can be reached in 10 minutes and the Place du Tilleul (City Hall) as well as the Place du Petit St-Jean in 5 minutes. The building has bicycle storage.
The charm of the Old Town
The famous Funicular created in 1899 connects the upper districts (St. Pierre) and the lower town (Neuveville) of Fribourg. On foot, it is possible to take a staircase of 11,674 steps along the funicular rails.
With its incomparable charge, the Old Town (lower town) benefits from a rich and well-preserved historical and cultural heritage. Its numerous streets, bridges, churches and other historic buildings invite you to stroll and explore.
The different neighborhoods are full of charming green spaces, landscaped squares and play areas for children to hang out in.
