Who doesn't remember the many exciting and sleepless evenings at school or vacation camp?
The Berghaus Metjen was built in 1971 and has served as a vacation home for school classes, clubs and private groups for the past 50 years. Ten five-bed rooms and two two-bed rooms offer space for up to 55 people. On the first floor there are two large communal rooms that can be used for seminars and training purposes or simply for playing and socializing. A large kitchen, the dining room and the leaders' rooms are located on the second floor. The ten rooms for five people are on the 2nd floor.
The Metjen mountain house has a laundry room and other common areas such as a cellar and storage room on the first floor. The spacious surroundings include enough open space for various games and a barbecue area.
Since March 1975, the "Metjen" mountain lodge has belonged to the children's and youth association Jungwacht Blauring Schweiz.
The Metjen mountain lodge is suitable for summer and winter camps. The beautiful surroundings for hiking and the chairlift in the immediate vicinity (200 m) offer ideal conditions for an eventful stay at any time of year.
