Wohlen train station - regional public transport hub
Wohlen is located in the Bremgarten district in the Bünztal in the southeast of the canton of Aargau. With more than 16,000 inhabitants, Wohlen is the fourth largest municipality in Aargau and the largest in the Freiamt region. Wohlen is still growing, with a lot of construction activity (e.g. new developments in Ahornpark and Monolith). The municipality is the main town of a sub-agglomeration on the western edge of the Zurich metropolitan region.
The station is the gateway to the center of Wohlen and is the regional hub for public transport. The station and its surroundings have been greatly upgraded in recent years (including a new bus station/station square, new Park Rail facility) and will continue to be developed on a large scale in the future, including by the SBB.
Spacious studio with private bathroom
As part of the modernization of the rail travel center, the entire station building is being renovated. After the renovation, the commercial space on the ground floor will be rented out again as a convenience store. The first and second floors will be converted into commercial premises (currently apartments/warehouses) and rented out in the "health" and "services" areas. For this reason, all floors will be accessible without obstacles (installation of a lift).
The annex building at Wohlen train station, which houses a kiosk, is not affected by the renovation.
The aim is to complete the renovation project in 2025 and to hand over the studio to the future tenant for interior work by summer 2025. The studio area includes its own wet room with toilet/sink.
Since the premises are being completely renovated, the advertisement does not include any pictures of the current condition of the rental space (before renovation).
